Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms govern your use of Helm, a platform that event businesses use to manage their operations. By creating a workspace or using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information when you sign up, keep your login details secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You must be able to form a binding contract to use Helm.
2. Your workspace and content
You own the content you put into your workspace — your events, clients, pricing and related information. You're responsible for that content, for having the right to store it, and for using it lawfully, including handling your own clients' information responsibly. You grant us the limited permission needed to host and operate the service for you.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you will not:
- Break the law or infringe others' rights while using Helm.
- Upload harmful code, or attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the platform or another workspace.
- Attempt to access data that isn't yours.
- Resell or copy the service except as allowed by us in writing.
4. Team members and access
If you invite team members, you're responsible for the access you grant them and for their use of your workspace. You decide what each member can see and do.
5. Plans, payments and trials
Helm is offered on subscription plans billed monthly or yearly in advance. The plan, price, billing period and applicable taxes are shown on the checkout page before you pay, and form part of these terms. Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay; we never see or store your full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. A free trial, where offered, lasts for the period shown at sign-up; at the end of the trial you'll need to choose a paid plan to keep using the service. Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Taxes (such as GST) are charged as required by law and shown on your invoice.
Any payments you record for your own clients inside Helm are between you and your clients — Helm is a tool for managing them, not a party to those transactions.
6. Service availability
We work to keep Helm available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or discontinue features over time.
7. Your data
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or request deletion of your workspace content as described there.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Helm at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or where necessary to protect the platform or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; we'll make reasonable efforts to let you retrieve your content first, subject to any legal limits.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Helm is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Helm after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
