Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how you can cancel a Helm subscription and when we give refunds. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Free trials
If your studio starts on a free trial, you are not charged during the trial. You can stop using Helm at any time during the trial at no cost. When the trial ends, you'll need to choose a paid plan to keep using the service.
2. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time by contacting us at support@helm.com from your studio's admin account. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your studio keeps full access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
3. Refunds
- Monthly plans — payments are non-refundable once the billing period has started, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Yearly plans — if you cancel within 14 days of your first yearly payment, you can ask for a full refund. After that, yearly payments are non-refundable, but you keep access until the end of the year you paid for.
- Charged in error — if you were charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged the wrong amount, tell us within 30 days and we'll refund the incorrect amount.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through our payment partner, Razorpay, usually within 5–10 working days of approval, depending on your bank.
4. Taxes
Where a refund is approved, the tax charged on that amount (such as GST) is refunded too, and we issue a credit note where the law requires one.
5. If we suspend or end the service
If we end your access because the Terms were seriously broken, payments already made are not refunded. If we discontinue Helm entirely, we'll refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
